Declaration on accessibility

This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the website of Verkehrsverbund und Fördergesellschaft Nordhessen mbH published at www.nvv.de.

As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Hessian Disability Equality Act (HessBGG) and the Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (HVBIT) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

A BITV test was carried out for the website www.nvv.de on 31/05/2021. All pages whose content can be edited in the content management system (Typo3) were editorially checked and adapted to the criteria formulated by the test centre.

The areas listed below are not or only partially accessible:

  • Forms cannot yet be made accessible.
  • The timetable information is an external application that is not yet BlTV-compliant. An alternative for timetable information is the NVV service telephone, which is available for you every day from 5 am to 10 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays we are even available until midnight. 0800-939-0800
  • Timetable book pages, network maps, stop overview maps and brochures are mostly non-accessible PDF documents.
  • There are no explanations in German sign language on the website yet.
  • There are no explanations in easy language on the website.
  • There is no accessible documentation on the website.
  • The leisure database (FreizeitTipps) is not yet BlTV-compliant.
  • Content from external services and providers.

We are continuously working on eliminating these known defects.
